Secure Your Life:  Prepare – Respond – Survive™

Stopping the Bleed for Ukraine’s Citizen Soldiers

We, at LifeSecure, were approached by a private donor in the U.S. with the request to provide 200 custom MobileAid BleedStop kits for Ukraine’s Citizen Soldiers. We jumped at the chance to custom design, assemble, and ship these kits via charitable channels directly to the Citizen Soldiers defending the streets of Ukraine.

These compact kits provide tourniquets, pressure dressings, and chest seals (complete with the Ukrainian translation of the English instructions) to stop traumatic bleeding from gunshot and shrapnel wounds.

If needed by the individual soldiers who now have them, these kits can save their lives by stopping them from bleeding out in the field from battle wounds. Though I hope that they will never have to use them, I am pleased to see these BleedStop kits in the hands of these brave Citizen Soldiers (identities withheld for their security).

May happens to be National STOP THE BLEED month. You can take a free course to learn how to save lives by stopping traumatic bleeding.

David co-founded LifeSecure in 2005, just a few months before Hurricane Katrina taught everyone that one can go hungry and thirsty in America and even die before help arrives. For over a decade David has focused on developing and discovering superior emergency and disaster survival solutions - kits and supplies. He has trained community groups in emergency preparedness, helped non-profit organizations prepare emergency kits for needy individuals, conducted community emergency response exercises, and developed emergency plans for non-profit organizations. David makes an ongoing study of how best to prepare for and respond to various natural and man-made disasters, and his mission has been to help others “live Life SECURE” every day by preparing for what may come someday.
